About. Shipform is a Stockholm product design studio for AI and B2B teams.

What Shipform is

Shipform designs product interfaces in code and ships them into the client's repository. Founded by Jacob Larsson, the studio embeds with seed-stage to scale-up teams so the UI you approve is already talking to the product and ready to merge.

How the studio works

Most design studios hand over files. Shipform works in the same repo as engineering — typically React, Next.js and TypeScript — against the real API. Research, UX, UI, prototypes and the design system come from the same people throughout. One published rate, no scoping documents, no change orders.

The practice is built for teams shipping AI: generative UI, streaming and steering, agent approvals, citations, and the low-confidence states a demo usually skips. Those are the surfaces a customer meets on day one, so they get designed as product, not as a spinner in front of a prompt.

Who it is for

Founders and product leads at AI or B2B companies, from first release through scale-up. Hire Shipform when the roadmap is outrunning design capacity, an AI feature still looks like a chat box, or design and engineering are stuck arguing over static files.

Questions

What is Shipform?
Shipform is a Stockholm product design studio for AI and B2B teams. Founded by Jacob Larsson, it designs product interfaces in code and ships them into the client’s repository, so what gets approved is what ships.
Who should hire Shipform?
Seed-stage to scale-up product teams shipping AI or B2B software who need senior design inside the repo — not a Figma-first agency handoff. Typical triggers: an AI feature with unhandled streaming or approval states, a launch that still looks like a demo, or a roadmap outrunning design capacity.
How much does Shipform cost?
One published rate: $12,000 USD per month. The retainer covers research, UX, UI, prototypes in code, and the design system. No scoping documents and no change orders. Book an intro call at cal.com/jacoblarszon/intro-call.
Does Shipform design in Figma or in code?
In code. Shipform designs and prototypes in the client’s repository — typically React, Next.js and TypeScript — against the real API. The approved UI is already a mergeable front end, not a spec for someone else to rebuild.
What AI product design does Shipform do?
Generative UI, AI design systems, streaming and steering, agent approvals, citations, and low-confidence states. The studio designs the interface an AI product is judged on, then wires it to the model.
Where is Shipform based?
Shipform is based in Stockholm, Sweden, and works remotely with teams worldwide. Clients work directly with founder and product designer Jacob Larsson.
